On Saturday morning, former President Donald Trump launched out another all-cap rant in response to an Associated Press report on special counsel Robert Hur’s probe of President Joe Biden’s handling of government documents.
Taking to his Truth Social account, the former president cut and pasted AP reporting, “Special Counsel Robert Hut released a long-awaited and bitingly critical report that concluded criminal charges against President Joe Biden were not warranted but said there was evidence Biden WILLFULLY RETAINED & SHARED HIGHLY CLASSIFIED Information when he was a private citizen, including documents about military and foreign policy in Afghanistan. The report repeatedly pointed to Biden’s hazy memory in language that has raised new concerns about the president’s competency and age – a top concern for Voters.”
A Justice Department report states that no criminal charges are necessary against President Joe Biden or anyone else despite the fact that he “willfully” retained and disclosed highly classified materials when he was a private citizen, including documents about military and foreign policy in Afghanistan and other sensitive national security matters.
In addition to providing a stinging critique of Biden’s handling of classified government documents, the special counsel Robert Hur’s report, which was made public on Thursday, outlines the reasons why the senator shouldn’t face criminal charges.
The results will probably make it more difficult for him to publicly denounce Donald Trump, who is expected to be Biden’s opponent in November’s presidential race, in light of a criminal charge accusing the former president of unlawfully storing sensitive documents at his Mar-a-Lago home, Florida.
