Trump Reveals Assault Victim Meltdown: ‘It Was Not A Crime’

On Saturday, former President Donald Trump yet again launched a scathing attack at advice columnist E. Jean Carroll, whose defamation trial against the former president is currently ongoing.

Trump was already ordered to pay Carroll $5 million for defamatory statements he made in the course of denying her sexual assault allegations and has continued to make claims that are similar to those previously found to be defamatory. The current trial is considering damages for separately made defamatory statements.

Trump took to Truth Social on Saturday to repeat the claim that he has never met Carroll.

In his post, the ex-president claims Carroll said in a New York Times interview that, “It was an episode…..It was NOT A CRIME…..I have NOT BEEN RAPED. Something has NOT BEEN DONE TO ME.”

“Until the filing of this ridiculous lawsuit against me, I knew nothing about this woman, never heard of her, never touched her, had nothing to do with her,” Trump wrote Saturday. “THIS IS A FALSE ACCUSATION FORCED INTO THE PUBLIC EYE BY DEMOCRAT OPERATIVES LIKE HER LAWYER, HER FUNDERS, AND OTHERS.”

Trump goes on to attempt to bring down Carroll’s standing:

“LOOK AT HER MANY CRAZY TWEETS, THEY SAY IT ALL — Another HOAX, just like Russia, Russia, Russia. These people are ‘SICK.’ Hopefully Judge Kaplan will see the light and do what is just and proper for America!”
