Trump Reveals Jack Smith ‘Set Up’ In Court Video

On Tuesday, President Trump criticized Special Counsel Jack Smith in front of a courthouse in New York City, following revelations about alleged coordination between the Biden administration’s Department of Justice and the National Archives.

The former president used Truth Social on Saturday to launch his initial attack after documents suggested that the DOJ had collaborated with NARA. Trump wrote, “Wow! It looks like Deranged Jack Smith, a sick PSYCHO, got caught. BIG ‘STUFF!’ See story in Rob Schmitt opening on NEWSMAX. AMAZING — MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

On Tuesday morning, Trump doubled down on his criticism outside the New York State courthouse, claiming that Jack Smith had been caught “with his hand in the cookie jar.” He said, “It was released late last night and it’s a big story.” Trump dismissed the classified documents case against him as a hoax, suggesting it was a political move for election interference. He added,

“The whole thing is a hoax. All of them are hoaxes, including the civil cases. They’re controlled by the White House, they’re controlled by Democrat judges and prosecutors… and the people are getting it.” He also remarked that the public’s awareness of the situation was reflected in his poll numbers, which he claimed were higher than ever.

Further fueling his argument, Trump pointed to documents that were unsealed by Judge Aileen Cannon in the classified documents case. These records revealed that the Biden White House and DOJ had been coordinating with NARA’s general counsel Gary Stern. The day before Jack Smith indicted Trump in the classified documents case, Stern was reported to have been at the Biden White House, meeting with Joe Biden’s White House lawyer Richard Sauber. These revelations were presented as evidence of collusion between NARA and the Biden administration.
