Former President Donald Trump recently faced a huge court loss in New York and following that he took to Truth Social to blast “despicable people” who he says released AI photos of him looking ‘fat’ on the golf course.
“The Fake News used Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) to create the picture. These are despicable people, but everyone knows that,” Trump went off on the conservative social media site.
“The other pictures are me hitting Golf balls today to show the difference. Sadly, in our Country, Fake News is all you get!” he said.
It has been noted that the photos, which show Trump golfing with a large pot belly, weren’t AI at all, but a photoshopped image. The original was of a 57-year-old golfing cult hero and Trump supporter, John Daly, in an image taken in 2017.
Trump also posted actual photos of himself looking much slimmer than the photoshopped image, taking a minute out away from complaining about “election interference” – aka his court loss in New York.
The businessman has been ordered to pay a whopping $355 million and has been barred from doing business in the state of New York for three years. Friday’s decision from Judge Arthur Engoron was a massive blow to the Republican, who is currently vying for a second turn in the White House ahead of November’s election. His sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, were also banned from doing business in the state for two years.
All three were implicated in a civil fraud trial related to the family’s Trump Organization, brought forth by New York Attorney General Letitia James.
