WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has the final say in anything and everything that goes on in the company, for better or worse. Vince McMahon also sabotaged Jon Moxley’s matches.
Vince McMahon has been the head of the company since he took control of the organization in 1982. McMahon saw various changes in his company over the last few decades as well. All through that, he continued to adapt to the changing times. However, many fans now feel that he is out of touch and simply has no idea what is good for a WWE Superstar.
Many fans want him to step down eventually as he is 76 years old now, but he shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. WWE Hall Of Famer D-Von Dudley is a veteran in the world of professional wrestling. He has witnessed several changes to the landscape of professional wrestling throughout his career and that also includes the behaviour of his peers in the locker room.
D-Von Dudley recently spoke on the Table Talk podcast, where he revealed that he wants to get back in the ring along with his sons Terrell Hughes and Terrence Hughes. However, he said that Vince McMahon will not allow him to wrestle because according to the WWE Chairman, D-Von Dudley is too old.
“I think at 49 years of age, you know, Vince McMahon’s philosophy is that I’m too old to be back in that ring, nor does he want to see me in there… If I was gonna come back and risk my back, it would be with my boys. I would definitely do that with them but, I just don’t see it happening on a WWE level, just for the simple fact as you know, I’m 49 years old and things like that, I think Vince doesn’t — wouldn’t wanna see me back on his TV again, not in that type of role.”
