Although WWE star Bianca Belair’s career has been filled with notable successes, she has unfortunately also had to deal with incidents of racist abuse from some people. However, Belair’s other WWE stars have stood by her in the face of these abhorrent occurrences. She has courageously spoken up about the racial taunts she received after being featured as a cover athlete for WWE 2K24.
Before WWE 2K24 was released, a promotional image of Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, and Cody Rhodes appeared online. Unfortunately, Bianca Belair was the focus of racist remarks on the post, some of which called for her to be fired from WWE.
The likes of Becky Lynch stood in support for The EST of WWE. While speaking to Metro UK, Bianca Belair noted that she can handle all the attacks she gets but admitted she didn’t check the hateful messages.
“The negativity never actually got through to me. I’m not the one that goes in searches or vanity searches my name anyway. But I’ve still to this day never actually seen what was said. I’m 35 years old, and I’m able to handle that. But kids, that’s what kids are going through now. So we have to make sure that we stand up for that type of stuff.”
The likes of Zelina Vega and Rhea Ripley have already come to the aid of Bianca Belair’s defense as well. The EST has also made it clear that she will not be affected by such hatred and rise above it and that is all that matters.
