WWE Male Star ‘Separated’ From Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley has undeniably emerged as one of the standout female WWE Superstars, captivating audiences with her commanding presence in the ring. Alongside her wrestling prowess, Ripley has also cultivated a significant fan following, earning admiration for her performances. However, her association with Dominik Mysterio, affectionately known as Dom Dom, has sparked intrigue, particularly surrounding their separation ahead of the Elimination Chamber event earlier this year.

During the high-stakes match at Elimination Chamber, Ripley defended her Women’s World Championship against Nia Jax in the main event, despite being portrayed as a heel in Perth, Australia. Interestingly, Dom Dom shed light on WWE’s deliberate decision to keep him separated from Ripley, citing concerns that his presence might provoke boos directed at Ripley due to their association.

In an interview with Comicbook Nation, Dominik Mysterio candidly shared insights into the dynamics of their on-screen partnership, revealing WWE’s strategic maneuver to preserve Ripley’s favorable reception from fans. He said,

“She’s just so loved by the fans and the people. I’m the complete opposite. They do not like me. There have been times, everything leading up to Australia in Perth, that’s why you do not see me and Rhea together. She was gonna get cheered in Australia and they wanted her to get cheered in Australia. At any point in time, if I was with her in Australia or leading up to it, she’d get booed. It’s crazy, right?”
