WWE Massive Star Return For Bray Tribute Spoiled

The unexpected passing of Bray Wyatt has sent shockwaves throughout the pro wrestling community, leaving everyone in a state of disbelief. As WWE continues with its scheduled programming, a unique episode of SmackDown on FOX is anticipated, one that will likely serve as a tribute to the late wrestler.

 


 

In response to the tragic news, WWE is taking special measures to honor Bray Wyatt’s memory. The company has called in additional individuals for this week’s SmackDown broadcast, which is expected to be emotionally charged and focused on paying respects to Wyatt.

Xero News took to Twitter and reported that Triple H will open the show as well.

According to PWInsider, notably, two individuals who had a close connection with Bray Wyatt, Cody Rhodes and Braun Strowman, have been brought in for the show. Cody Rhodes, a RAW Superstar, will be part of the SmackDown taping, joining in the tribute to his former colleague. Additionally, Braun Strowman, who is currently recovering from neck surgery and not active in in-ring competition, is also expected to be present, although his appearance might not necessarily be on camera.

Cody Rhodes will be at tonight’s Smackdown taping.

PWInsider.com is told that Braun Strowman is also going to be there tonight, but that doesn’t mean he will be appearing on camera.

One would think many of the original creative plans for tonight will have changed following the passing of Windham Rotunda.

Given the sudden and tragic nature of Bray Wyatt’s passing, it is likely that WWE has had to alter its original creative plans for the SmackDown episode. The wrestling world, both within WWE and beyond, continues to process the loss of Windham Rotunda, the talented individual behind the Bray Wyatt character.
