According to Viper from Xero, the following was reported:
As far as I’m aware, WWE do want Drew Mcintyre to stay and sign a new contract – it hasn’t been offered to him as of yet, but they do intend on offering him a new deal with updated terms shortly.
I would be shocked if Drew Mcintyre leaves WWE when his current contract expires.
Drew McIntyre has been absent from WWE television since WrestleMania due to an injury he sustained on the road to the event. Despite the injury, he competed anyway. Complicating matters is the fact that McIntyre’s current contract with WWE is set to expire at the end of 2023, and the two parties have not yet come to terms on a new deal.
The uncertainty surrounding McIntyre’s contract situation has led to speculation about his future with the company. While there is still time for WWE and McIntyre to reach an agreement, nobody knows for sure what his future holds.
A recent update from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter revealed that McIntyre is still injured and will need a few more weeks to recover before making a return to the ring. However, his contract situation remains undecided. WWE may be hesitant to give McIntyre a significant push if there’s a chance he may not be with the company by the end of the year.
McIntyre will be out of action for a few more weeks. Nothing has changed regarding his contract situation
It’s unclear which option McIntyre is leaning towards at this time. However, many fans are keeping a close eye on his situation and are eager to know what the future holds for the talented wrestler. Despite the uncertainty, many are hoping that McIntyre will be able to make a successful return to the ring in the near future.
