CM Punk is in the spotlight after being released by AEW publicly. The ‘Second City Saviour’ wants to be back in the WWE, or so he plans as per the rumours spread by him.
According to Ringside News, WWE has no plans to bring him in the team as yet. Punk tried to return back to WWE with FOX’s ‘WWE Backstage’ on FS1. He caused stress back then, and so WWE is extremely cautious. They even warned FOX of this action attempted by Punk and made it clear to the broadcaster.
Punk has made ‘desperate’ attempts to return to the WWE on two separate occasions. He didn’t pitch for a match with Kevin Owens. There is no news on if WWE would want Punk back in the team as his desperate attempts have fallen flat. The former WWE Champion has brought controversy wherever he has been and this is not a new occasion.
WWE is a publicly traded company and they wouldn’t want any problems for themselves due to someone who has been a cause of concern for them. Triple H is the Creative Head now and Punk has had his share of problems with ‘The Cerebral Assassin.’
