WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff recently took a trip down memory lane, reflecting on a rather unconventional and memorable moment from his wrestling career: a scripted on-screen kiss with Stephanie McMahon.
Bischoff’s journey in the wrestling world took a unique turn after his significant role in leading WCW during the infamous Monday Night Wars of the 1990s. In 2002, he made a surprising leap to WWE, joining forces with his former adversaries. His entry into WWE was marked by his appointment as the new RAW General Manager, and this shift brought him into the orbit of various compelling storylines and character interactions.
One such storyline saw Bischoff embroiled in a feud with Stephanie McMahon, his counterpart on the SmackDown brand. As part of the storyline’s dramatic elements, Bischoff found himself engaged in a backstage segment that involved an unexpected and forceful kiss with Stephanie McMahon, the “Billion Dollar Princess” herself.
Discussing this memorable episode on his podcast, “83 Weeks,” Bischoff reminisced about his experience filming the scripted kiss with Stephanie. He candidly described Stephanie as “younger” and “much more attractive,” acknowledging the physical allure that added to the dynamic of the scene. In his recollection, he painted a vivid picture of Stephanie wearing a witch hat and a somewhat provocative attire, which contributed to the entertaining and engaging nature of the on-screen moment.
“Look, Stephanie, you know, younger, obviously, you know, physically, because she’s younger, much more attractive, you know, at the time that I made out with Stephanie with a little witch hat on, b**bs hanging out. You know, that was pretty fun.”
