The former WWE Champion had a good weekend, putting away Randy Orton at WrestleMania. Though he left with his hand held high, the Phenomenal One may have also walked away with a little more damage than fans thought.
It’s been reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider that AJ Styles was pulled from today’s Axxess VIP meet & greet due to an injury. Fans who had bought tickets for the event were reportedly told this and would be offered full refunds and 8×10 signed photos from Styles himself, or an opportunity to meet new WWE Champion Kofi Kingston instead.
To add fuel to the fire, Dave Meltzer stated that Styles would not be working the upcoming SmackDown Live. Apparently, he was spotted by a fan at an airport and was moving rather slowly. However, Meltzer couldn’t confirm the injury report.
