Backstage news on WrestleMania plans for Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman won the Tag Team Battle Royal as seen this past Monday Night on Raw and he looks all set to take on the Bar at WrestleMania this year.

However as seen this past Monday, he didn’t have a partner for the match which made many wonder if the Monster Among Men will take on the Tag Team Champions on his own.

Now Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has revealed that currently there are no plans in place for Strowman to have a partner for the bout or at least if Mr. McMahon has any such plans in his mind then he hasn’t told anyone.

Considering that Braun is one of their biggest stars, it’s possible that the company may go according to their current plans and have Strowman face the Tag Champs on his own.

However, if the Officials decides to give him a partner for the bout then the most likely associate for him appears to be Elias who Strowman has been feuding with, in recent times.

He will have a partner for sure most likely Elias.

The only problem I see with him winning the titles on his own is that unless there is something specific that happens (outside interference etc), it actually makes two men look weak if they get beaten by a guy who has lost every singles title match he has ever been in.

Don’t dare disrespect Dave in front of his bed bud, Anutosh. He will give you a severe talking to about how Dave is always right.

  • Matthew Carter

I can see his tag team partner (if he has one) being either Elias, Lars Sullivan, Kane or Bobby Lashley. Either one of those four would be a perfect partner for Strowman.

  • Nicholas Giambattista

I never do because most of these guys like Daivd never been backstage at the WWE. Heck half of the time the wrestlers themselves don’t know what is going own backstage. To think a guy like Daivd know more then the wrestlers themselves is crazy.

Dave Meltzer also said Owens and Zayn would be in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal.

Don’t believe everything this guy says.

  • Kayfabe_Is_Dead

Dumbest idea ever. Tag him with Big Show, or put him in a one on one squash match against Elias.

Better yet, leave Reigns on the suspended list and replace Reigns with Stroman.

  • Nicholas Giambattista

They may also turn the IC title match into a Fatal 4 Way this was just to get us guessing for a week.

  • Grant Thomson

Strowman comes out saying that the Bar are going to GET THESE HANDS. Then comes the returning James Ellsworth. “Any man with two hands has a fighting chance!” Boom there’s your new tag champs

  • Nicholas Giambattista

I don’t think Strowman bury anybody he just act like a 1 man reacting machine. I think both the Revival and Gallows & Anderson are going to Smackdown after Wrestlemania anyway.

  • Arnold Jackson

I will go with Bliss who will have the title but never be tagged in. Team Little Big is too catchy for them to just let go away without making more shirt money off of.

  • MindTricked

Braun could very well be the tag team champions (shout to Kane & Bryan), but this is bad and completely devalues tag teams.

  • Nicholas Giambattista

They are going to put Strowman and Elisa together which I think it good for both of them. I think by Wrestlemania 35 Braun Strowman will win the Unverlasial Championship. They are just turning Elisa face and have Braun Strowman countine to improve on his promo.

From a fan perspective, I love this. Braun is awesome. But from a business perspective, having him singlehandedly defeat the tag team champions, and then have him steamroll every other tag team on RAW in the subsequent weeks, burying legit teams like Gallows & Anderson and The Revival, this all has my a little bit befuddled. I’m torn.

    Nathan Jones! :^D

What kind of sense does that make ? Vince has lost the plot completely.
