Big Show provides update on WWE return

Yesterday, Paul Wight’s WWE contract officially expired. The World’s Largest Athlete was with the company for 19 years, with his last match taking place in September where he was slammed through a steel cage by Braun Strowman.

Big Show, in an interview with Sporting News, revealed that his contract would end in February 2018, and he never signed an extension with the company. However, he does feel that he’ll return soon and expects to be back in time for Wrestlemania.

In an interview with UPI, Big Show stated that he’ll definitely return in time for Wrestlemania. What his role will be at the event is unknown at this point.

The Big Show has been working hard the past few years to get leaner, losing quite a bit of weight. It showed in his last year of work that, while he’s not as spry as he used to be, he can still go in the ring, putting on some quality matches with Braun Strowman throughout 2017. Could he be working towards his retirement match this year? We’ll have to wait and see.
