Boy Pleads Guilty to Killing Sister with “WWE-Style” Wrestling Moves

– Devalon Armstrong, the 13-year-old who beat his 5-year-old half-sister Viloude Louis to death last June, pleaded guilty this week to negligent homicide.

The 13-year-old boy was babysitting Viloude while his mother was away at the store. According to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, Devalon said that he started wrestling with the victim and practicing “WWE-style” wrestling moves. Armstrong then allegedly slammed his sister onto a bed, jumped on her and hit her with his elbows “like wrestlers do on television,” about 15 to 20 times.

Devalon faces up to five years in prison.

    I am not buying it.

I was 13 once. When you are 13, you are aware that dropping elbows on your sister like that isn’t a good idea. Did this boy hate/argue a lot with his sister? The entire context of this can be framed in different angles, you see.

I am betting on the angle that “This boy is trying to use an easy to believe ‘cop out’ to avoid responsibility for his actions”. He just “didn’t know”. Right.

He isn’t stupid, he knew what he was doing, and had a chance to stop.

So let me get this straight… Your example is 2 brothers who killed both their parents with shotguns, which is obviously premeditated, so they could get the money is the same thing as a brother doing wrestling moves and “accidentally” killing his sister…..That’s what you’re saying?!?!

Soon it will be the UFC. It will happen whenever a straw man is needed to incite a Moral Panic.

I am surprised they haven’t blamed commercials for American Stupidity, but that one might just be supportable…

    Melendez Bros say otherwise.

At the age of 13 he will not due 5 years in prison, bc no DA will or can charge him as an adult….

That’s because most non-wrestling fans use WWE or even WWF as a term for ALL wrestling, regardless of the company.

I love how any “wrestling style move” is automatically attributed to WWE and the blame is leveled at them.
