Braun Strowman reportedly forgot his lines on RAW

The segment between Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar on this week’s RAW left much to be desired. It did not deliver on many levels.

As reported earlier, Braun Strowman was not cleared for in-ring competition, which is why the two did not have any physical altercation. If it looked like Strowman was out of it, there is apparently a good reason for that.

On Wrestling Observer Online, Bryan Alvarez explained that Braun Strowman had apparently forgotten his lines. Here is what he said:

“Yeah, Braun Strowman forget every singe line.”

“Strowman’s a big guy, people like him. He doesn’t do those trainwreck segments that everybody thinks is great. The reality is he’s not your top guy. He cannot deliver in the ring unless you’ve got gimmicks. Straight professional wrestling matches I mean he’s not top level.”

“As we saw last night he’s not cleared to wrestle so he had to do a talking segment and he’s not a main event talker. He’s not even close to being a main event talker. He’s forgetting his lines, stumbling through things, it was awkward.”

Perhaps Braun was just having an off-day, or that he still has a long way to go until he can actually cut a good promo. Either way, we still do not know when Braun will be cleared to compete. Hopefully, it is in time for the Royal Rumble.

Wow.. I just watched this segment.. it was awkward. Strowman seemed uncomfortable and this was an embarrassing segment. I’ve been wanting Strowman as champ for awhile but he’s fallen off since losing to Lesnar.

Braun Strowman has an will never be a talker on the mic. It his Raw power that makes him who he is the Monster Among Men. It not like Brock Lesnar is good on the mic that why he has Paul Heyman.

Harrison, I could barely read what you wrote…

    “””

“Yeah, Braun Strowman forget every singe line.”
“Strowman’s a big guy, people like him. He doesn’t those trainwreck segments that everybody things is great.”””

    What to edit? I wonder…

Because Braun is the star of great segments when they play to his strengths. I can’t name a memorable Roman Reigns segment, apart from the ones that were awful (sufferin’ succotash) or ones where he also messed up (forgetting lines with Cena. I can absolutely name a handful of great segments built around Strowman (throwing Hawkins through a wall, pulling down the backstage area with a grappling hook, lifting a truck etc)

If Roman Reigns had done this, this comment section would be filled with at least 12 comments saying he should be fired by now.

Weird how the same people are totally silent now.
