- As noted earlier in the week, the Central Florida Sports Commission received a request for a proposal from WWE for the opportunity to host WrestleMania 31 in 2015 or WrestleMania 32 in 2016.

Detroit, Michigan is another city that received a request for a bid from WWE. The event would take place at Ford Field, which is the same place WrestleMania 23 was held.

Target Field in early April may be too cold for a Wreslemania. I think the Vikings new stadium (when it’s completed of course) will be a far better option.

well L.A. have had SummerSlam for 5 years if anything needs a rest its that

  • Josh Davis

How about the Dallas Cowboys Stadium.. I’m am positive it’s big enough.. The thing is humongous.

Apparently they are showing some love once again for Detroit. Anything that helps make Detroit better is good by me.

It will never happen. They would have to tape the show and then air it here in the U.S. like they did with SummerSlam 1992. The show was taped on August 29 and it aired on August 31, nowadays with the internet shooting spoilers out, it would hurt buy rates if people read the results and did not feel like ordering the pay per view. The only way they could do it would be to have the event start at 8 wherever they had in Europe, and show it live in the U.S. at 3 pm here on the east coast (12pm on the West coast) which I doubt they would do.

Or us European fans, doesn’t need to be London there are plenty of cities in mainland Europe that would happily host and have no problem selling out

  • Matt Trovato

Instead of hosting WM in the same 2 general areas, how about showing us Canadian fans some love?
