Dan Marino Comments on WWE & WrestleMania 28, Big Show’s Debut

– On this day back in 1999, Big Show made his WWE debut at the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre: In Your House pay-per-view. Show debuted during a Steve Austin vs. Vince McMahon cage match, tearing a hole in the bottom of the ring and attacking Austin. Show ended up accidentally throwing Austin through the side of the cage, causing McMahon to lose the match. Show’s first full feature WWE DVD comes out next Tuesday.

– The Miami Herald has an article up with Miami Dolphins legends Dan Marino and Nat Moore, who were at the WrestleMania 28 press conference last week. Marino talks about being a long-time WWE fan and said the following about welcoming WrestleMania 28 to Florida:

“As a Miamian, a guy in South Florida, I’m going to make myself the official mayor, commissioner, governor of South Florida and welcome this big event, WrestleMania 28, to South Florida. To Vince and all the superstar wrestlers, welcome from all of us. Sun Life Stadium is a great venue for an event like this, and I’m glad to be part of it.”

As noted before, the Miami Dolphins will have a hand in helping WWE promote WrestleMania 28.
