- Former TNA Knockout SoCal Val pleaded not guilty in writing on September 16th to the DUI-related charges against her in Florida. Her arraignment scheduled for the next day was waived. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for October 7th. The written plea included a request for the video from her arrest. She has hired a well known local attorney that specializes in DUI arrests.
- As noted earlier, former WWE star Michael Droese (Duke “The Dumpster” Droese) was indicted for selling pain medication illegally on two different occasions to a police informant.
Droese sold the informant oxycodone and buprenorphine on July 1st and also sold more oxycodone the next day to the same informant. Droese was arrested on September 16th but was freed $10,000 bond. While the case is ongoing, he will be suspended from his job teaching special education in McMinnville, TN.
