New Details on Road Dogg’s Backstage Role with WWE, More on Michael “PS” Hayes’ Status

– Brian “Road Dogg” James has been gaining more influence within WWE as of late. Part of the reason why is because Michael “PS” Hayes was sent home several weeks back.

We noted at first that Hayes was given time off to deal with personal issues. Last night, word came out that Hayes may have been suspended indefinitely for offering alcoholic beverages to Rosa Mendes just days after she returned to work after a stint in rehab.

Hayes had been working with Triple H on booking live events, among other things. James is now filling in on that position and it was described as James being on the rise because Hayes gave him an opening. Besides doing TV events and live events, James is also working in the WWE offices quite a bit. Most of the wrestlers are happy with James’ presence in creative meetings since he’s been around the business so much longer than most of the decision makers, plus he talks the language of the wrestlers.

Hayes has been drunk and tried to pee on Linda McMahon, got drunk and almost caused a scene at Stephanie and Triple H’s wedding and then got drunk again and said the N word to Mark Henry. Now, a man who is supposed to be banned from having alcohol while on WWE’s time gave alcohol to someone who just left rehab. Why does he have a job?

With Stephanie selling so much of her stock over the last few months, that might not be the case. Besides, the Kliq never really ran wrestling. Vince just needed people around who would make sure the locker room never became united. The Kliq fit that mold perfectly. After seeing what happened when the Kliq ran WCW, I doubt that Vince will allow the same thing to happen in WWE

In a couple years, I fully expect the entire Kliq to be running WWE from top to bottom. Triple H has already had Nash, Waltman, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn down at NXT. With Scott Hall progressing very well, I could see Triple H eventually hiring him in some capacity (most likely doing something with NXT, since he lives in Florida). People always said the Kliq ran wrestling and very, very soon, they’ll be 100% correct.

This is all good for Road Dogg. Seems to make sense for him since he’s been at all levels. Too bad for Hayes though. Only a matter of time before Hayes cries foul that Triple H is just trying to employ his friends. Mark my words.

How Michael Hayes has kept his job with all the shit he’s done over the years is beyond me.

Don’t get me wrong I’m a huge Freebirds fan but when he calls a guy the N word and now give a woman just out of rehab alcohol, maybe it’s best to consider firing him?
