Ben Meiselas, co-founder of MeidasTouch and owner of Los Angeles Magazine, mentioned in a video that “Donald Trump is actually farting in the courtroom” and that it’s causing a strong odor. Meiselas said that he heard from credible sources that as Trump appears to doze off during the trial, he passes gas, creating a noticeable smell that even his lawyers struggle with.
“I’m hearing it from actual credible people that as he’s kind of falling asleep,” he told his viewers on MTN. “He’s actually passing gas and that his lawyers are really struggling with the smell.”
The rumor has sparked amusement and mockery on social media. George Conway, a vocal Trump critic, reacted to Meiselas’ claim, noting that “flatulent and fraudulent do rhyme.” Other Twitter users shared their reactions, with one user humorously commenting that they hoped Trump might embarrass himself in court, while another suggested that Trump’s loyal supporters might be interested in buying the chair where he allegedly farted.
