Velveteen Dream turned some heads with his special pants at the recent NXT Takeover event which read ‘call me up Vince’ and started rumors of him having backstage heat because of it.
After this, WWE and Evolve revealed that Dream will be working a couple of Evolve events later this months and a lot of people wondered if this is connected to the reports of his backstage heat.
When these speculations became a hot topic of discussion, Evolve promoter Gabe Sapolsky stepped in, and he killed the rumors that Velveteen is being sent to their promotion due to backstage heat.
Sapolsky made a couple of tweets and revealed that they had asked for the NXT Star to appear at their upcoming shows and it’s an effort from WWE to help the independent wrestling scenes:
