IMPACT Wrestling is in trouble once again after the company’s weekly television show made the move a few weeks back to the Pursuit Channel after their contract with POP TV expired.
According to reports, the atmosphere backstage has not been good, with the talent being unhappy with the move. One thing is for certain, the company has never really recovered after losing their deal with Spike TV to IMPACT Wrestling.
Now it seems that a former IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion has parted ways with the company. DJZ took to Twitter and posted a tweet where he confirmed that he would leave the company.
“At midnight tonight, i will be a free agent for the first time in 7 years.
…and 2019 seems like the perfect time to be available for whatever new opportunities may come my way.”
“I would like to thank IMPACTWRESTLING for the last 7 years. They gave me a platform to hone my craft, make mistakes, learn from them and grow as a performer. They stuck w/ me through difficult times and provided the opportunity to wrestle for a living.”
