Goldberg reveals what he told Vince McMahon after 2018 HOF induction ceremony

After having a good run with the company last year, former Universal Champion Goldberg was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in the 2018 class which he headlined.

However, the actual induction ceremony wasn’t the best experience for the former Champion as it ran for 4 hours and many people had left before he could come on stage.

During a recent interview with Inside The Ropes, Goldberg talked about the ceremony and revealed that after it he told Vince McMahon that the whole thing needs to be changed:

I went to Vince and I told him my impression of the Hall Of Fame and what should happen, I think it needs to be changed completely right up on its head. I don’t care what anybody says and I don’t care if the person that puts it together thinks I’m full of s–t. It needs to be changed because it sucks.

Apart from this, Goldberg also spoke about being on the WrestleMania after HOF, saying that he felt like a caged animal there since he couldn’t compete.

They just need Kane to come out to stop the speeches like he did with Mr. T and his momma!

Yes. Why can’t they “keep time” on the HOF speeches like they do with wrestling shows. Inductees and inductors drone on for way too long. Goldberg himself kept saying “I’ll keep this short and sweet,” then rambled for 40 minutes. Put a clock-timer out there or something.

What the hell difference does it make if Kid Rock is republican or democrat? Or are you just a triggered little snowflake that can’t take people saying thing you don’t like?

  • Rob ‘Richard Hammond’ Picken

    Boom! This

And to add their total lack of respect for certain wrestlers/legends

Randy Savage: didn’t go in until he passed away

Vader: WWE knew he was dying and could have easily put him in but instead they induct people like Mark Henry (I’m not dumping on him… but he’s no Vader plus he’s still active)

British Bulldog: Part of one of the best tag teams in WWE and one of the biggest British wrestlers, yet where’s his induction? Yet we have Koko B Ware?

Owen Hart: says it all really (I don’t care what his wife says, he needs to be in there where he belongs

Brian Pillman…I could go on, yet the likes of Edge and The Dudleyz are in there

I agree. Its always sucked. Honestly. Especially after inducting a republican white rapper…when they did that they basically turned it into a sodding mockery of what it stands for…it’s suppose to be a “wrestling” hall of fame….why do they keep putting in irrelevant celebrities that have nothing to do with the company??
