- Shawn Michaels and Jim Ross had a lengthy discussion about The Undertaker and The Streak during HBK’s new interview on The Ross Report.

Michaels told Ross that the decision to end The Streak was made just four hours before WrestleMania XXX began. Ross added that he spoke to Taker in New Orleans and asked how many matches he has left. Taker told Ross he would know in a few hours, meaning after the match with Brock Lesnar.

HBK said Taker told him that he would contact Michaels a few weeks after WrestleMania and update him on his health and future. HBK said he does know that Taker was very banged up after the match.

Michaels also talked about how it was Vince McMahon’s decision. Shawn was confident that Vince had a good reason, in his mind, for ending The Streak.

Bray Wyatt, IM not sure what to call these type Wrestlers, but i call it the Stone cold Status, and that defines a heel as well as a face, the crowd cheers like crazy, ever week its something different. Im talking about the Emotional Boo’s, Bray Has Followers he plays by his own rules, he cares nothing about what people think… Dude is just awesome just like Steve Austin, CM punk is in this category, they arent defined, cuz the play both sides of the field, and they do it very well, even tho i hate CM punk, they will fight heels as well as faces, cheating, whatever it takes, i love these type talents

  • Jason Lentini

Agreed. It should have been to a full timer who would have gotten a huge rub/push out it.

  • Jason Lentini

I tend to disagree. I think while being liked because he is against John Cena that Bray Wyatt is the face of the heels.

  • Nicholas Giambattista

I don’t know why some people can’t get over this already. The streak ending is not the end of Pro Wrestling it just time to move on from the Streak. No matter who came up with who wanted the streak to end the bottom line it over.

  • Iosos Rezorek

Brock is in fact the new face of the heels, but keep in mind he has only been on TV once since Wrestlemania, so they already killed the momentum to Hate, and they would have never let a WCW/TNA wrestler end undertakers streak, that would have meant WWE couldnt find talent within its own company to break the streak, it would have taken a rival companies talent to do so… that would have never happen

  • Armitage Soulshroude

Uh, no.. Brock was the new face of the heels. Sting above all should have ended it.

  • Keith Learmonth

Just saying… ‘Taker could’ve vetoed it at any time.

If he’d disagreed with Vince, Vince would’ve said “Alright. Guess you know what you’re doing”.

The streak ending proved one thing that everyone’s know for years: ‘Taker is the ultimate “Company guy”

  • Iosos Rezorek

The Streak which was actually the main attraction at Wrestlemania, Was Broke by a Guy who doesnt appear on the Shows at all, they just ended it and Poof be gone, Worst decision WWE has ever made, IMO, it should have been ended by a new Face of the Heels

  • Rob ‘Richard Hammond’ Picken

Vince really is a clueless idiot

  • TheFizPop

    sums up the iwc!!

  • CC

Seems all those people claiming it was Takers decision, and not Vinces, dont know as much as they think.
