Jinder Mahal challenging Brock Lesnar for a match at Survivor Series was one of the most unexpected things that happened during Jinder’s WWE title reign.
However, WWE changed their mind about this bout just a couple of weeks before the PPV. It resulted in AJ Styles defeating Mahal for the title and he ended up facing Lesnar instead.
During a recent interview with Wrestlinginc, Mahal revealed that he found out about his match with Brock being nixed on the same day when he lost the WWE title, 7Novemberber:
“I found the day of, when we got to Manchester. To be honest, I was a little disappointed, I was looking forward to that match. But I know that match is going to happen sometime in the future, and it is up to me to make sure that it happens. And I’m going to make sure that it happens. “
