As of this writing, there are a total of 6 matches which have officially been confirmed for the upcoming SmackDown exclusive PPV Hell In A Cell.
Out of these 6 matches, there are two Hell In A Cell bouts and now it appears that the company can announce another gimmick match for the upcoming event.
In the latest issue of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer revealed that WWE is planning to add Rusev vs Randy Orton at the upcoming show.
He further speculated that this fight could be contested under Last Man Standing rules as they had this stipulation for their match during WWE’s recent tour of Japan.
Considering the fact that both of these stars have a victory over each other earned in a really short match in recent weeks, a Last Man Standing stipulation certainly looks to be a logical choice for their upcoming bout.
Here are the matches which have officially been announced for the PPV so far:
Hell In a Cell Match
Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens
WWE Championship Match
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Jinder Mahal
WWE United States Championship Match
Baron Corbin vs. AJ Styles
SmackDown Women’s Championship Match
