“I was offered a WWE contract and the Bellas made sure I didn’t get it. I’m not bitter. I just don’t like people that mess with my career.”
She later went onto say she’d wasted enough time talking about the Bellas before promoting Ring of Honor television.
She concluded…
“If you don’t speak up, you are part of the problem. I’d rather be lady made than man made. #firstlady. God takes care of everyone and he is the final judge.”
As we reported at Wrestling-Edge previously, Maria and other former Divas were offered short-term deals to work WrestleMania this year, however plans for a “past Divas” matched were scrapped and the plan for an eventual match at Mania was shelved. Some of you will also recall that the Bellas mixed tag-team match was cut from the PPV on the day.
