Matt Riddle added to WWE Madison Square Garden show

The WWE is hosting an event at Madison Square Garden next week, on December 26th. The lineup features John Cena, Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey, and an Intercontinental Championship match between Seth Rollins and champion Dean Ambrose.

The event will be primarily Raw focused, with a 10-man tag match featuring NXT talent somewhere on the show. Originally, Johnny Gargano was set to team with Velveteen Dream, Ricochet, Pete Dunne, and his rival Aleister Black to take on the Undisputed Era and Tommaso Ciampa. However, after what transpired on NXT this week, things have changed.

Now, Gargano will be replaced by Matt Riddle. The venue’s website recently revealed the change in an update for the event. Riddle tweeted earlier in the week that he was hoping to get one more show in before the end of the year, and it looks like he got his wish.

Below is the full card for the event:

  • Steel Cage Intercontinental Championship Match: Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose (c)
  • Raw Women’s Championship Match: Nia Jax vs Ronda Rousey
  • Finn Balor vs  Dolph Ziggler vs Drew McIntyre
