Earlier this month, it was reported that Matt Sydal had suffered a knee injury that would require him to have surgery. The former X-Division Champion was originally scheduled to undergo the operation on January 24th, but it had to be postponed.
According to Sydal, there were some issues with his insurance, and the operation had to be rescheduled for this week. Today, he revealed that he’d finally had the surgery and that it went well.

It’s unknown how long he’ll be out, but he did say that he’d be meeting with doctors tomorrow to discuss his road to recovery.
Reportedly, the WWE and AEW have been eyeing Matt Sydal since leaving Impact Wrestling on January 1st. Hopefully, they’ll still feel the same way when Sydal is ready for his return.
