Owen Hart inducted into the Pro Wrestling Hall Of Fame

Former WWE wrestler Owen Hart was bestowed with major recognition as he was announced as the latest member in the Pro Wrestling Hall Of Fame.

Hart, during the course of his career, represented several promotions which included Stampede Wrestling, WCW and the WWE (formerly known as the WWF), where he went on to be a two-time Intercontinental Champion, four-time Tag Team Champion and one-time European Champion before his unfortunate death in 1999.

Several members of the Hart family including Harry Smith, Diana Hart and Bruce Hart made their presence during the Hall Of Fame ceremony in Iowa which was organized by WWE producer Adam Pearce.

The Canadian wrestler’s status for the WWE Hall Of Fame still remains in the clouds due to resistance by Hart’s wife, Martha Hart, who is reluctant to Owen Hart being included in the Hall Of Fame.

I’ve seen the movie, pretty good. Heard the book was better though.

  • Soulshroude

I don’t get movie references… I’m more of a book reader, myself. “Do you read books?” “Shawshank Redemption”

  • Kristopher Robinson

I forgot, you re only 8 years old, you wouldn’t get that movie reference. Way before your time my big guy hahaha

  • Soulshroude

That made as much sense as your lack of class.

  • Kristopher Robinson

    Dorothy mantooth is a saint!!!!!!

  • Soulshroude

Your cute… your mom come up with that?

  • Kristopher Robinson

Did your older sibling type that for you? Way to big or words for my little guy!

  • Soulshroude

Ohh, nice rebuttal. You think I lack in education, and then subjecting the term “parent” into the argument to try and make your point all the more valid. Your insults are lacking, and garner little emotion from my end. Try harder.

  • Kristopher Robinson

Negative, but judging by your education level, your parents probably do that enough for everyone.

  • Soulshroude

    1. I’m not making things personal as you suppose. I’ve already made my point. If you don’t get that point, move on. This is over your head.

    2. Wait, two and to are uh, 5 right? Busted… try not to take things so damned seriously, chummer. These are only words on a screen.

    3. My facts are very straight, I actually pay attention to the minute details. Posts are not denoted as “outbursts”. Quit trying to come off as a mature adult, this is only a post on a website. Why so serious!?

  • Soulshroude

Aww, isn’t that cute… your trying to talk down to me, when you don’t even know me… HA!

  • Kristopher Robinson

She never once said anything about any other HOF, only WWE. Read a book before you try and act the way you’re acting.

  • Kristopher Robinson

Wrong. She owns the rights. If WWE used his likeness in a game or HOF, then she would win hands down, no questions asked. Hence why they havent put him in either of them.

  • Rob ‘Richard Hammond’ Picken

Martha will probably find a reason to b*tch about this too

  • Matthew Carter

The thing that she fails to understand is Vince could just do a surprise on the spot induction of Owen on WrestleMania and only tell Bret or Natalya, so Martha really has no say in the matter. As as far as her suing her, remember what Vince told K.O. last year- “the B next to my name means billionaire, and with my lawyers, you will have a B next to your name, for broke/bankrupt”. She will lose the lawsuit and go broke/bankrupt in the process. She just needs back-off and shut up.

  • Omar

    1) What is the matter with you?! Why are you cursing and making things personal? Do you not know how to make a point? Why are you getting angry?

    2) The subject matter is HOF and I am talking about it. Its about Martha, Owen, Pro Wrestling HOF and WWE HOF. Try to put two and two together.

    3) Martha never said he couldnt get inducted in ANY HOF. She only has problem with WWE. Get your facts straight.

There I have said my peace, you can be angry and belligerent all you want. I wont respond to any further of your outbursts. Have fun.

  • Soulshroude

No sh*t, Sherlock. No where within my rebuttals or my original posts did I ever state that she would be getting “monetary” value. Do this audience a favor and try not to derail the subject matter.

Profiteering is not the subject matter, the fact that she insisted that she didn’t want her “LATE” husband in the hall of fame of any kind, IS. PERIOD. Again, keep within the subject matter and try not to derail this conversation thread.

Further, your idea of a “promotional” view, is not the subject either. If the WWE wishes to legally issue some sort or caliber of contestation regarding “promotional” ties, that’s on them. But, my posts were clearly not attentive on the note of “promotional” gratuities, either. As such, your post is null and void.

  • Omar

Pro Wrestling HOF is not affiliated with WWE, therefore WWE does not gain any money or any promotion from Owen’s induction there. There is no hypocrisy here. Martha doesnt want WWE to profit from Owen’s name and WWE isnt profiting from Owen’s name from his induction into Pro-Wrestling HOF.

  • Soulshroude

Yes, she does blame the WWE for her death. Which is why she disagreed with putting him into their hall of fame, which makes her a hypocrite for agreeing on this display of the “Wrestling Hall of Fame”. Any type of market value is the same when it comes to wrestling and it’s promotional stand/view points. The Pro-Wrestling HOF gives the WWE full opportunity for backlash when it comes to this issue. So, yes. it has everything to do with the WWE.

Try not to justify something for something else… or one thing for another as this case may be, which your clearly trying to do.

  • Omar

She blames WWE for his death and would sue them if they tried to earn money through their marketing of HOF. Pro Wrestling HOF has got nothing to do with WWE.

  • Soulshroude

So… his widow disagrees with putting him ultimately into the WWE Hall of Fame and than this happens? I sense conspiracy. I don’t think his widow is too “butt-hurt”… there’s another side to this story that hasn’t been aired.
