We noted before how betting odds for the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV took a major shift last week and all of the sudden SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan became a major favorite to win the bout.
This was followed by a report saying that someone within pitched the idea of Bryan competing in the Rumble, which started the rumors of him possibly returning to the ring.
However, the company recently started advertising the SmackDown GM for WrestleMania Axxess for the VIP sessions on April 8th, the same day as the PPV itself.
Historically, the stars who are expected to compete on the main WrestleMania show do not attend the Axxess which likely means that the company has no plans for Daniel to return to the ring before or at WrestleMania.
It’s worth mentioning here that in a recent interview Daniel Bryan had said that if WWE doesn’t clear him by the time of the 34th edition of the Show of Shows, then he would leave the company once his contract expires.
