Stipulation revealed for WWE Championship match at Super Show-Down

Despite going at war against each other in two encounters, there has not been a definite winner among AJ Styles and Samoa Joe so far. With the first encounter at Summerslam ending in a disqualification, their recent clash at Hell In A Cell saw AJ Styles retain in a controversial fashion, which led to Samoa Joe demanding justice from the SmackDown general manager Paige.

The rivalry took a turn for the worst after the Samoan Submission Machine targetted the champion’s family and to decide a winner once and for all, the stipulation for their next clash is set as a no-disqualification match. As per WWE’s announcement, the match will be no-counts, no-disqualification and there must be a winner.

The highly anticipated SuperShowDown is scheduled to be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on October 9.

Joe could always win it off Bryan.

  • Leedraven

I could see that, as the Miz has earned another run. Maybe have Bryan win the rumble? Fans have wanted that for years

  • Mike the Ike

The story that makes sense is that Danial Bryan beats Miz for the title at Mania, which means that Miz beats Bryan, again, for the number one contendership, which would indicate that AJ beats Joe so that Miz beats a face instead of a heel Joe. They could always have Miz win the title in a four way or something, but the signs seem to point to Joe not winning the title, even though I’d like to see Joe as champ and am ready for AJ to drop the belt.

  • Killswitch

He hasn’t had a decent feud since the one he had with Cena. The one with Joe is decent, so I’m hoping something comes of it with Joe winning the title.

  • Leedraven

Joe needs to go over. For as great as he is, A.J. has gotten stale.
