THQ has revealed they are replacing their “Road to Wrestlemania” mode with the following storylines as part of their Attitude Era mode.

* Rise of DX
* Austin 3:16
* The Brothers of Destruction
* The Great One
* Mankind
* Wrestlemania XV

The storylines will have players go through 65 matches that are based on the storylines of that era, but allows for changes based on how players proceed within the game.

    finally, story lines we don’t have to make!! why did they stop when SVR08 come out

  • yofits

    Neil Armstrong died. I wonder if the WWE will have some sort of tribute next week on Raw.

    Road Dogg & the Brock-HHH referee from Summerfest must be in mourning now.

  • Tombstone

    heres an idea, why dont all stop fucking talking shit and wait it out for the game to come, then chat the bs about how and why you hate it, its crap and so on. really need hobbies if yall just gona sit on here talking about hypotheticals.

  • JSmooth

    Guess he forgot wwe ’12 was made in the pg era. Couldn’t u bleed on that game I’m, just saying attitude era is attitude era.. they cursed on wwe allstars also made in the pg era. Attitude era without the attitude just doesn’t work everything is censored for tv . Gonna be an awsome game WWE ’13 just play it ur gonna buy it anyway

  • deevaa

    no storyline for a CAW, lame!

  • yofits

    MANKIND will never be the same.

    Next week, he comes out as Dude Love.

  • adam

    @Ray it doesnt matter if she doesnt win she will just keep running and wasting vince’s money

  • Shawn O B

    Austin, i really hope your right with the 1st part of your sentence. seeing blood assures me that my opponents will get injured in universe mode. i dont feel like making matches so i let it roll most of the time, therefore the game will give another wrestler a chance. i like beating the snot out of my opponents and i want it to show.

  • Joe John

    Godfather (with hoes) is in the game. Won’t be any different than the other ones, story (censored) wise.

  • Eve’s left nipple

    Its a shame knowing we have to play the attitude era on a PG basis but i’m so glad they have got some of the stars from back then on the game! Just wish Godfather, D’lo and Val Venis was on there. I’d love it if they show Shamrock going nuts backstage or something. Sure he went Crazy at the deadly games attacking refs left, right and centre.

    Did I just watch a commercial, just to watch a commercial?

  • mad

    Take out the Bellas and Kharma and put in Too cool and Rikishi!

  • JohnCena33

    They couldn’t have picked better story modes, it covers all the great attitude era stars: Rock, DX, SCSA, Foley, Taker, Kane.

  • scooter

    Just download TEW 05 or EWR dude their free.

  • sam

    65 matches for each?? or in total? either way im going to be kept busy thats for sure

  • Philzibit

    I wonder how far into the attitude era will go. Personally, I would wanna see it culminate at Wrestlemania 17, but it doesn’t look like that will happen.

  • Shane

    They need to bring back GM mode. That was better than the actual game it’s self

  • Austin

    You can bleed and they said the game isn’t PG, although the fingers may be blurred

  • Ray

    This game is going to suck. The PG crap will kill the Attitude mode. You can’t even bleed on the game, ffs. What are you going to hear from Austin? “Talk about your Psalms, talk about John 3:16 – well Austin 3:16 says I just -BEEEEEEEEP-.”

    Or, “Give a -BEEEEEEP-.”

    “Are you stupid -BEEEEEP-.”

    I can’t wait for Linda to lose that election.

  • scooter

    Personally I’d rather play a game with an original story but thats just me.

  • http://wrestlingedge.com cool d
