WWE confirmed that The Shield will have their final match, titled “The Shield’s Last Chapter” this Sunday. Many fans wondered who their opponents would be for their supposed final match together.
Pwinsider has revealed that The Shield will be facing the team of Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley and Baron Corbin. This news might come as a disappointment for fans who were looking forward to more high profile opponents for The Hounds Of Justice.
Dean Ambrose will be leaving WWE after the end of this month and he is not advertised for any shows after this Sunday’s Live Event.
While it is unknown where Dean Ambrose will end up after leaving WWE, it is likely he will take some time to unwind before he decides which promotion to work for next. Rumors suggest that he might sign with AEW.
“The Shield’s Last Chapter” will air live on the WWE Network this Sunday from a live event at the Tax Slayer Center in Moline, Illinois.
