Home » WWE News » Undertaker’s WrestleMania Opponent, Who Thought Up The Bryan/Bella Twins Storyline?

- Former WWE creative team member John Piermarini has started his blog (http://wrestlingrecall.blogspot.com/) in which he has released a ton of scoops regarding things that occured in the company during the two years he was employed. The blog has since been pulled (the Website does say it will be back soon) but we have managed to retain some of the things Piermarini said. Below are some notes:

  • The storyline between Daniel Bryan and The Bella Twins was actually first pitched by The Bella’s. WWE has planned to run with a similar storyline for Evan Bourne before he was injured.
  • There was talk that Drew McIntyre would be the man to take out the Undertaker before it was changed to Nexus.
  • On the Undertaker, the plan right now is for him to wrestle Wade Barrett at WrestleMania 27, but of course this could change.

If the bellas approached anyone with a storyline like that, I’m pretty sure they would get ultra exitec, hoping they’ll be able to grab/ride 2 as ses and such.

The streak is nno longer appealing after Shawn Michaels decided to end his career off of it. I’ll wait until Super Cena jumps in to see if WWE will let their overrated money maker get the job done, cuz Triple H wouldn’t either.

That’s great for Barrett but i hope they don’t have Taker squash him in the match and make it an epic where we all come out of it respecting his ability much more.

Yeah the WWE will not have the Undertaker lose at WM. It is his legacy.

  • Dan

I think he means take out as in during the buried alive match.

take out? does that mean undertaker will lose? they shouldn’t do that thats ine of the only things that makes wrestlemania a good show without tzhe streak its just a bunch of bad matches
