Update from Sin Cara’s WWE Debut Against Primo, Cena Thanks Orton

– John Cena wrote the following on Twitter yesterday in response to Randy Orton’s comments in a new interview with ESPN’s website: “Thank you Randy. That means more than you know. Thank you.”

Here’s part of what Orton said: “I think Cena will own The Rock. I think Cena is wittier and can go off the cuff. Cena writes his own stuff while The Rock has stuff written for him. It just all comes down to who you are in the ring and what kind of performer you are in the ring, and I think Cena is ten times the performer in the ring that The Rock is. This Monday in Chicago, he’ll prove it.”

– As noted before, Sin Cara made his WWE debut last night in Champaign, IL and defeated Primo Colon. Cara won the match by submission, using his La Mistica finisher, which is a headscissors takedown into a single-arm DDT into a Fujiwara armbar.

Cara also did most of his trademark moves that he did as Mistico in Mexico. A fan in attendance said the match went over 11 minutes and even though most fans didn’t know who Cara was, he got a good reaction.
