Video: The Undertaker Declares Himself for the Royal Rumble

During tonight’s (Monday, January 9, 2017) episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, former WWE Champ The Undertaker declared himself for the 2017 Royal Rumble from his home-state of Texas. You can check it out here:

What could this mean? Will the WWE allow Taker to win the Rumble, headline Wrestlemania, and then ride off into the sunset with the title around his waist and into the Hall Of Fame?

They been building for Undertaker vs Braun Strowman looks like to me for Wrestlmania.

  • Rajah

Nah, you’re correct. It was crap.

Didn’t ya hear? He and Michaels had a who can rib Vinnie the best competition!! Still tough to see who won though

  • Maybe its just me but I felt like it was the weakest promo he has ever given. I don’t know if it was just an incredibly poor job on the writing teams part or what but it just didn’t seem like him at all and I thought it felt really flat.

Taker has a good chance of winning now. I just don’t really feel like he NEEDS to be in the main event for it to be big. The match with Cena can happen anyway. I feel Jericho/Owens Title vs. Title could be the match. The rumble has been about elevating younger stars. A taker win would be a step back in my opinion.

I doubt he will win the rumble…. but that doesn’t mean he still can’t go with cena at mania. And I doubt Jericho will win it now since he is us champ and it seems like reigns will win the wwe universal title…..so that only leaves braun strowman to win the rumble and go one on one with “the guy”… lol these matches will be so lame at mania… let’s just hope for a good Jericho vs owens for us title match……. and maybe a good match between hhh and Rollins(who does the pedegree better?) And I’d like to see randy Orton fued with aj styles at mania….

No way Taker is in this to lose. I think the train may be finally getting ready to pull into the station for good this time.

Well that’s pretty much confirmed the Cena v Taker theory
