The Aerial Assassin Will Ospreay had an amazing Wrestle Kingdom 13 match with Kota Ibushi and even came out the victor and captured the NEVER Openweight Title. However, Ospreay will forever stay a Jr. Heavyweight at heart as he has a special place in history for having helped build the division into what it is today.
Ospreay took to his Twitter account to react to a statement made by his rival KUSHIDA wherein the latter said that the Jr. Heavyweight division will be fine without him.
Ospreay agreed to this statement and said that this is an opportunity in disguise for all those aspiring to rise to the top of the division. He also suggested that a few names from the UK could be a great addition to the division.
Ospreay finally asked the entire division to “step-up”.
This is when opportunity can present itself.
New Japan will need Junior Heavyweights.
I could name 5 lads in the UK alone that would be a great addition.
Time to step up lads https://t.co/d3iumwRBVt
