Welcome to NXT, we are shown highlights of this past Saturday’s Beast in the East special. Sasha Banks walked down to the ring. Then she was followed by Dana Brooke and Emma. Dana Brooke cut a promo prior to the match about how Sasha Bank is not the real diva of NXT because she couldn’t find a tag team partner. Banks called Brooke a pig and said that she would take them both on. However, Charlotte walked down to the ring and we have a tag team match.
Tag Team Match: Dana Brooke and Emma vs. Charlotte and Sasha Banks
Charlotte and Brooke start things off, Charlotte with a takedown then a knee drop to Brooke. This leads to Emma getting the tag, Charlotte tripped her and rolled her up for 2. Charlotte with a knee to the gut then followed up with a knee to the face of Emma. This led to Emma rolling out of the ring, Charlotte followed and Brooke kicked her in the face. Brooke attacked her and then the two heels beat Charlotte down for the next few moments. Charlotte fought back and got the hot tag to Banks, who cleared the ring. Banks tossed Emma to the floor and then hit a running knee to Brooke in the corner for 2. Emma attacked her from behind. Banks shoved her to the floor. Brooke went for a slam on Banks, but blocked and Banks hit the back breaker into the Bank Statement. Charlotte hit the figure eight on Emma and this one is over.
Winners: Charlotte and Banks.
Post-match, Charlotte said a deal was a deal and she wants her NXT Title shot next week. Banks accepted.
Bayley cut a backstage promo about how she will rebound from her broken hand injury and become the next NXT Champion.
The a shorten version of Finn Balor vs. Kevin Owens at the WWE Japan special is shown.
Tye Dillinger told Chad Gable that he wants him to be his tag team partner next week.
Singles Match: Solomon Crowe vs. Marcus Louis
Crowe with a series of chops to the chest of Louis. Crowe went for a springboard move, but was knocked down. Louis beats him down in the ring until Crowe fought back and locked in the Crowbar submission.
Winner: Crowe.
#1 Contender’s Tag Team Match: The Vaudevillians defeated Enzo and Cass.
Gotch and Enzo start things off, Enzo with an arm drag and then sent Gotch to the floor. Big Cass shoved English (who was in the ring) to the floor.
We’re back from commercial break with English having Enzo in a shoulder lock. He then kicked Enzo in the face for a near fall. Moments later, Enzo fought back and got the hot tag to Big Cass. He hit a splash in the corner on English then a power slam. Big Cass with a big boot to English then hit a side slam on Gotch. He tagged in Enzo, who hit English with a crossbody, but English rolled through and pinned Enzo.
Winners: English and Gotch.
English and Gotch celebrated on the stage to close the show.
