WWE SmackDown Report – 2/5/15

We start off this week’s show with a look back at the Earth shattering announcement by Triple H that shook the WWE Universe to the core. Roman Reigns has a detour on the road to Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania.

We are in Colorado Springs, Colorado and your announcers are Michael Cole, Byron Saxton, and Jerry Lawler.

We begin with MizTV as the Miz and his personal assistant Damien Sandow make their way to the ring. Miz tells Sandow to sit at ringside while Miz goes into the ring to host his show.

Miz welcomes everyone to MizTV. He says his guests tonight . . . The crowd chants for Sandow and Miz says that they have Sandow and he is sitting at ringside like an assistant should.

Miz points out that his guests will face each other at Fastlane, with the winner going to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania.

Miz brings out Daniel Bryan first. Then he brings out Roman Reigns, but Roman’s music jumps the cue from the introduction. Reigns makes his way to the ring and he looks around and he hits Miz with a Superman Punch.

Reigns takes the mic and he asks Daniel if he thinks he can slide in and take his opportunity. Reigns says the truth is that he went through 29 superstars to get through this point. He has no problem going through one more. He is going to Wrestlemania, he is going to fight Brock Lesnar, and he is going to win the WWE Championship.

Reigns asks Daniel if he knows how he is going to do that. He tells Daniel that he is going to beat him at Fastlane. He says that he sees it in Daniel’s eyes. They should do it right here . . . right now.

Roman and Daniel throw their chairs out of the ring, but before the carpet can be removed and a referee makes his way to the ring, Seth Rollins’ music plays and he makes his way onto the stage with Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble.

Seth says he hates to be a party pooper, but it is his thing. He has a bone to pick with both of you. Daniel Bryan, you know, as well as all of you people, that on Monday night, he was on the verge of beating Daniel and punching his ticket to Fastlane and the main event of Wrestlemania. He was not victorious and do you want to know why? It is because that jerk in the ring next to you tried to stick his nose in Seth’s business.

Seth tells Roman he sucker punched him because he is a coward and he doesn’t have the guts to face him one on one in the ring. Seth says that if he was Roman, he would be afraid to face Seth. Seth reminds everyone that he single handedly brought back the Authority, he almost slayed the beast Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble. It does not matter what happens at Fastlane or Wrestlemania because he holds the future in his hands.

While we are on the subject of futures, he says that Daniel’s is in jeopardy. Per the Authority, you have a match against J . . . and . . . J Security . . . and Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins. He wishes Daniel luck making it to Fastlane.
