TV Executive Questions Why Anyone Would Want To Do Business With TNA

TNA is having an issue with getting a TV deal in the United States and that issue has to do with their track record. When they were at Spike TV and doing over a million viewers things were good, but since they departed from the network and signed with Destination America, they dropped more than half of those viewership numbers, which is of course not good.

 


 

Dave Meltzer noted that executives that follow the wrestling industry have a negative opinion on TNA.

Several months back, one TV executive noted TNA’s handling over the Destination America memo story from May as well as the way they handled the Vince Russo situation from last year, made the executive say “who would want to do business with these people?” to Meltzer.

Now, that TV executive who at one point was interested in TNA has now lost interest in the promotion due to the way that the company has conducted themselves. The feeling is that TNA is a very damaged brand.
