WWE was reportedly keeping tabs on the future of Lucha Underground prior to the second season of the show being announced. The reason for this is because WWE was interested in some of their talents.
Angelico and Ricochet are two of the names that WWE is said to be interested in. Currently, Ricochet lives in Orlando already, as he’s the roommate of Apollo Crews.
WWE hopes to be able to sign him and if so, then they already have plans for him to work with Finn Balor in NXT.
It should be noted he has a seven-year contract with Lucha Underground and New Japan Pro Wrestling.
