During episode 27 of WOOOOO! Nation, WWE Hall of Fame Ric Flair talked about some of his favorite current WWE Superstars.
First up was Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas, who are brothers in real-life.
“If you look at Bray Wyatt, I think, number one, Bray [has] got a great amateur [wrestling] background, as did his dad [Mike Rotunda], as does his brother [Bo Dallas], so he brought that to the table. I mean, a good amateur wrestler automatically, probably after watching his dad for years, he liked the [professional wrestling] business. I can tell he loves it now.” Flair continued, “and, so, Bray and Bo are just two wonderful kids. Mike Rotunda won the NFL Punt, Pass, and Kick Championship at 12 years of age, guys. And that’s what kind of athlete Mike Rotunda was, a two-sport All-American at Syracuse [University] at wrestling and football. I mean, I just don’t think kids like that come along every day.”
According to Flair, Roman Reigns could have made it in the professional wrestling business even in the 1970s and 1980s.
“Roman Reigns, for as quiet and humble as that guy is remember who his dad is [Sika Anoa’i]. Let’s get serious!” Flair added, “Roman Reigns was All-ACC at Georgia Tech. I mean, the kid can play sports!”
Flair then brought up Cesaro and the way WWE is booking him.
“Who brings more to the table as a performer, if you look at raw ability than Cesaro? Nobody! I mean, that kid is phenomenal! But, he’s one week on, one week off, and I think that’s part of the problem.”
“I know how they can resolve that mic issue.” Flair continued, “dial 9-1-1-Naitch!”
