Drew Galloway spoke with U.K.’s Daily Record newspaper about winning the TNA World Heavyweight Title. Here are the highlights.
On winning the TNA Title:
“This is my biggest success. I’m ready to take it forward and embrace the challenge. I think I’m the busiest wrestler in the world and I love it.”
On winning the WWE Intercontinental Title:
“Everyone looked at me when I was 24 and had won a championship in WWE and the attention was a bit much,” Galloway said. “It was such a whirlwind and I got a harsh introduction to the kind of people who say they’re happy for you but aren’t really. Now I’m a man and I’m 100 percent ready to be a world champion again.”
