WWE trying to bring as many people as possible for debut on Fox

Smackdown Live will be moving to Fox in October of this year and WWE and Fox are doing all they can to build the hype for the move. On top of airing a special for non-wrestling fans just before the debut, they are also trying to give non-wrestling fans a reason to check out the product during its debut.

On Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez explained how huge the debut episode of Smackdown Live on Fox will be. Alvarez thinks that the WWE will pull out every stop for the Fox debut. They will want to get the Rock and everyone else they can, which includes celebrities and sports stars as well. They can get the latter because Fox has the TV rights to MLB and the NFL. Bryan says it will be the biggest WWE show in a very long time.

Whether the debut episode will be a major success or not, we will only know once it finally airs. A lot is riding on this episode and we will keep you updated regarding Smackdown Live’s debut on Fox.
