NXT will be making its debut on the USA Network on September 18th and this will be a huge move for the company. They will be directly competing with AEW in the Wednesday Night Wars.
According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, despite being on the USA Network, NXT will not be equal to the main roster. So NXT superstars will be called up to the main roster as it has been the case for years.
Even though NXT will be on television, the idea of bringing up guys from NXT to the main roster, being Raw and Smackdown, will continue, as opposed to NXT being its own third major league brand . There are plans for people to be called up.
It is said the next call-ups might take place in October after the company adjusts to the brand exclusive rosters in October.
