WWE Contract Signing – Drew McIntyre/Seth Rollins

Jerry “The King” Lawler is announced as he is standing inside the ring where a table and chairs have been set up as a make-shift boardroom/conference room where the contract is to be signed.

Lawler explains that the Money in the Bank match begins on the bottom floor of the WWE headquarters, where they may fight in the elevators, in the gym, or even in Vince McMahon’s office.

Lawler continues to hype the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, stating there will also be a match where Drew McIntyre will defend his championship title against Seth Rollins. Lawler adds that match cannot take place until this contract is signed. With that, Lawler then welcomes first, the competitor, Seth Rollins.

Rollins music sounds in the Performance Center as The Monday Night Messiah makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring, sitting at the table, awaiting his opponent for the upcoming pay-per-view match. Lawler then announces Drew McIntyre who comes out with a big smile on his face, his title over his shoulder. McIntyre makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring where Lawler and Rollins are already sitting in wait.

McIntyre looks to Lawler and states, “You know how these things normally go, and that’s probably what’s going to happen here, so I recommend you skidaddle.” Lawler agrees, thanking McIntyre and then quickly exits the ring. McIntyre then sits, and says “as a matter of fact…” McIntyre then signs. McIntyre tells Rollins to go ahead, this can be done in 20 seconds. Rollins then takes the pen, but stops to give a speech.

Rollins states he didn’t want to do this, he had to. Rollins admits that he stomped McIntyre to get his attention for this match. Rollins says he suffered for the title, Drew doesn’t have to. Rollins adds he doesn’t want what happened to him, to happen to McIntyre, stating that’s Rollins burden to carry, not McIntyre’s. Rollins adds he doesn’t want to crush McIntyre’s dream, but the people have followed Rollins.

Rollins continues on, stating that people need a leader and he can be the light in that darkness. Rollins said he suffered for the title and McIntyre doesn’t have to. “I don’t want you to suffer the way I did,” Rollins said. “I don’t want what happened to me to happen to you. That is my burden to carry, not yours.”

Rollins says he’s willing to take that sacrifice for the greater good, and one day it’ll make sense to Drew, and when that time comes, he will not turn Drew away, he will lead him too.

McIntyre thanks Rollins, stating that was a really passionate speech. McIntyre says things are clear to him now, and he’s sure they’re clear to the people around the world… that Rollins is full of shit. McIntyre asks where Rollins followers are, or where his fans are. McIntyre says Rollins’s brain is warped. McIntyre then states he will not let Rollins win under any circumstances.

#1. Shut your mouth, stop talking. Nobody wants to hear Rollins talk. Backstage, Right Now, Online, possibly even around friends and family. #2. You jumped me, you didn’t finish the job, at MITB, finish the job. GO for the throat, because I will sure as hell go for yours.

Rollins states, “At MITB, the picture will be very clear, and trust me when I tell you, you will b better for it.” Rollins signs, then says, “Have faith in…” McIntyre slams Rollins face into the table. McIntyre flips the table, countdown to a Claymore, as he gets to 1, Murphy pops up out of nowhere, coming to Rollins’s aid.

Rollins looks at Murphy, then hugs him. McIntyre lands a Claymore to Murphy. Rollins quickly exits the ring, leaving Murphy behind. McIntyre asks if he’s the sacrificial lamb, and continues to shout to Rollins as we go to a replay.

Rollins stares down the ramp with anger, McIntyre smiling in the ring looking back….

That’s all folks!
