Pat Patterson not only inspired the current generation of wrestling talent with his career as a wrestler but the WWE legend helped many of the current wrestlers in their careers as well.
That’s why various personalities of the wrestling world have been opening up about their relation with the wrestling veteran since his passing and Kevin Owens recently joined the list.
Owens opened up about his relationship with Pat Patterson on the latest episode of WWE’s The Bump and recalled how Patterson was supportive to all the wrestlers:
“Pat was something else. I used to think he and I had this connection because we’re French-Candian. He was so supportive and willing to help. I quickly realized that he was actually like that with everybody.”
Continuing on the topic, the former Universal Champion explained that Patterson always asked about how the wrestlers and their families were doing:
“What Daniel Bryan said was true: He would really listen and ask about you and how your family was doing… He would constantly ask how I was doing.” recalled Kevin Owens, “When wrestling was involved, he had a mind like no other. To say he’ll be missed is an understatement.”
