This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was a special episode as it paid tribute to Brodie Lee. It featured several matches and tributes, honoring the memory of the former TNT Champion.
WWE Hall Of Famer and current AEW star Arn Anderson recently took to Twitter and shared a few messages for Brodie Lee. In the messages, The Enforcer talked about the best qualities of Lee.
In the messages addressed to Brodie Lee and the wrestling community, Anderson gave his thoughts on what made Lee the wonderful man that he truly was.
One message talked about all the wonderful qualities Brodie Lee had as a person. It also talked about his in-ring skills and personality.
“As you pass through life you meet all kinds of people. Very seldom do you meet one that checks all the boxes. In our world Brodie Lee was a great performer, wrestler, opponent, partner, employee, friend, husband, dad and all around awesome human being.”
Another message stated how Anderson felt fortunate to have known someone like Brodie Lee. Anderson then said that he will never forget Brodie Lee in his life.
“Brodie I will never forget you and what you meant to us all. All I can figure is that God must’ve needed a monster, and boy did he get one.”
Anderson worked with Brodie Lee when during Lee’s feud with Cody Rhodes. Lee’s final match was against Rhodes on the October 8th episode of AEW Dynamite.
